ServerInSight was created to manage any application (and by extension any application-controlled appliance, such as a sensor) that is controlled by a server.

In the ServerInSight realm, system operators can manage any application that runs on a server via command line interface over a direct connection to a ServerInsight Controller module as long as its network address is known by the server. For control over multiple servers whose network address is not known, and to allow for graphic user interface control, a ServerInSight component known as a Collector must be introduced.

A final component known as a Zaibot controls the sensory information that may be collected through the system. Zaibots may be responsible for video, audio, meteorological, seismological or any other type of sensor data.

The three types of components are capable of intelligent interactions that automates the collection, storage and output of sensor data in a truly robotic sense.

ServerInSight is a widely distributed and vastly scalable system for the management and monitoring of live sensor data. Designed around server software optimized to remote data sensing, ServerInSight is not written with a single line of open-source code, and is therefore an ultra-secure platform for the transmittal of sensitive data.
